How to Get Motivated- Physical and Mental Health

Often, we may find it very difficult to be motivated. This may be due to family issues, personal issues, or even mental health issues. We completely understand. Therefore, we have put together this guide to help you get back on track! Read this whenever you are unsure about where to start or what exactly you should do.
5 Ways to Get Motivated:
Plan out your day: This may seem like a simple task, but you WILL notice a difference in your motivation levels once you start doing this. Plan out your day by planning your sleep schedule, school schedule, work schedule, and extracurricular activity schedule. It does not have to be extremely complicated; just make sure it is organized and clear to read. Studies show that you are more likely to complete a task if you write it down!
Reward Yourself: Every time you get a good grade on an assignment, work out, or simply finish a task, REWARD YOURSELF! Frequently, we may think that overworking ourselves is good, but it just harms us in reality. Take time to go to the mall with your friends, watch a movie, or go to the park. Something as simple as this will end up having a very positive impact on you in the future.
Remove All Distractions: Completing a task is already hard, much more when we are distracted. By removing distractions such as your phone, you will notice that you will complete tasks much faster. I remember doing my homework while simultaneously texting my friends. It used to take me almost 2 hours just to complete a simple worksheet. Put down your phone!
Get Some Sleep: We are not the best version of ourselves if we are tired. Not to mention the fact that lack of sleep could do the opposite effect and make you unmotivated. Aim for at least 8 hours per night. By doing so, you are ensuring that you are well-rested and ready for the next day.
Put Yourself First: Often, we may not do something only because it may burden someone else. But you need to remember that you must live your life on your terms. Do what is best for YOU.
